Why is this so complicated

So my husband has PayPal and asked me to send him some money for some stuff and I’m trying to buy it keeps popping up that they need to contact me and every time I put my number in it says it’s not an acceptable number. Can anyone tel me how and the hell im suppose to send him some money if it won’t let me

If you're running into some issues adding your number during a security check, I'd recommend first clearing your browser's cache, cookies, and history or trying a different browser for that payment.
