Why is payment on hold after I set order status to order processed?

Hi, I have a new business account since a month, and at my 3rd order I saw that the money were on hold.

It asked to add tracking info and the status of the order, so I initially selected -shipped- .

Then after some days it got delivered and I read that the customer should confirm they received and the payment will be released.

They say they didnt see any way to confirm it, so I searched and saw that I can edit the order status.

I change it to -order processed- and after a day it is still on hold, and customer says they still dont have a confirm button.

Did this happen to you? What should I do?

With payments received for tangible goods Paypal would request valid tracking information confirming the item has been delivered to the buyer. They can validate the tracking information online, so once it is delivered they can release the funds. IF you have received the funds for a service / virtual or digital sale or no tracking number is applicable Paypal would be unable to release the funds any sooner than 21 days.

However If you mark the transaction as processed then the buyer sender may have the option on their account to mark the transaction as delivery/satisfied. If the buyer sender confirms this by clicking on the "Confirm Receipt" button, funds may be released sooner ie 7 days after the buyer sender verifies receipt. This is not always available or guaranteed. 
If not then sadly its 21 days.

So should I keep the order status to -order processed- and maybe the confirm button appears for the customer in a few more days? 

Or it will surely be released in 21 days? 

With the tracking number is also shows it is delivered and accepted, just the customer doesnt see a way to confirm it. 

From what you say I think I just have to wat for paypal to check it and confirm it, and this might take 21 days?
