PayPal lost me. they started charging. Venmo is free.
then they pulled PayPal Now.
our customers look blank at us when we say we still "accept PayPal" . you can't just send and receive money. you have to have their email account, etc etc. so outdated. They lost out and Venmo won. Oops.

Welcome to the PayPal community.
If there are no open issues on your account then you should be able to receive payments. Once the sender has your PayPal email address and your email address is confirmed then your payments should be showing on your account.
If someone is trying to pay you and you are not receiving your payment then check that your email address is confirmed and that the email address they have is correct and registered to your PayPal account. If you are still not receiving payments after you have verified all of the above please check your Resolution centre to ensure that are no open issues that need to be resolved before you can receive payments.
