I have both PayPal AND Venmo, yet I cannot move money from my PayPal account into my Venmo account. When I tried to add my PayPal debit card to my Venmo account, I was given an error that said I cannot add a Venmo debit card to a Venmo account ... yet I cannot use that debit card to send money to a Venmo user and there remains, no option to move money from PayPal to Venmo - though some people say that adding a Venmo debit card to your PayPal account will provide the ability to move money from PayPal to Venmo. I just ordered a Venmo debit card so I will test that once I receive it.
But do you see the problem here? There really is no fluidity at all between Venmo and PayPal, so simply having both accounts does not mean it becomes easier to use both services within each of their intended contexts.
