Receiving money, but told to claim first

Received a payment, and was notified by PayPal through my email, but asking me to first claim the money to be able to receive my money. Clicked on the link labeled claim on my email but haven't received anything on my PayPal balance. Any insights please

I am sorry to know that you have trouble claiming the money. Let me assist you with it. To keep you informed, when the money is sent to an email ID that is not confirmed, it will go unclaimed. 

Please ensure you have added and confirmed the respective email ID on your PayPal account and once it is done, you can claim the money and it will be processed to your account automatically. 

Here is how you can add the email ID. Please refer to this link and ensure everything works.
