Paypal scammed me taken extra money

So I purchased and paid €667 for an item online, this is the total price I was given at paypal checkout and still shows this payment for €667 on paypal transaction, However when I check my bank account that is linked to my paypal account it’s show paypal actually took €698 ( €31 ) extra, I have statement from bank and price paypal said they took on transaction page on paypal, Paypal €667 But shows they took actually €698 from my bank, €31 taken extra

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you're running into some issues with a recent transaction. Is it possible you had a negative balance in your PayPal account prior to the transaction? If so, that transaction would charge the extra amount to bring your balance to zero and then complete the transaction. If this is not the case, you may want to reach out to our Customer Support teams by clicking 'Contact" at the bottom of any PayPal page for further assistance.
