Payment on Hold - Can the buyer remove this payment

Hi, this is my first time selling as a 'business' on paypal. The item in question is a gift card. A payment has been made to me and is pending due to my first time seller status. My question is if I sent the gift card details to the buyer while the payment is still 'pending', can the buyer then withdraw this payment and therefore getting the voucher for free? Thanks

However you should really read up on Paypal seller protection before you start selling, especially risky virtual sales.

Hi, thank you but this doesn’t necessarily answer my concern. Until the payment is not at an ‘on hold’ state, can the buyer pull back their funds?
