Payment not recieved "Friends and family"

Hello! I have a problem my friend send me 350$ by "Friend and family" method and i recieve an invoice in my email that show this payment is paid but still not recieve and show after 21 days in my PayPal balence

Firstly the friends/family payment option is not available in your country so all payments are received as payments for goods or services.

However the funds would show in your balance immediately if they sent as for goods/services BUT may be pending under the new seller hold as per link below.

If the funds are not showing at all then is it a real 'friend' as it could be a SCAM.

If its not a scam and the funds are not showing then read the below information.

Thanks for your suggestion. I recieve the paymant from Croatia. I recieve an email that show the invoice is paid from the sender + in paypal app in the notification tab I see the same message and this is what I recieve in my email. the payment not show in my balence and is not in the hold.

Thanks for the reply. My paypal is activated with a visa card and still linked with the visa card. I recieved payments before.

Is this a 'real' friend, only sounds/ looks like this scam.

If it was marked as an invoice then its probably a scam doing the rounds as its been sent by a buyer and altered to look as though he has paid you.

Signs its a scam are >>>

its an invoice BUT sellers send invoices not buyers
marked as paid
marked as gift
says payment won't show in your balance for eg 24 hours
can't be chargedback.

Paypal NEVER tell you to send anything until the funds are showing in your paypal account balance.
Paypal payments are more or less instant.
Paypal will never tell you that a payment can't be subject to a chargeback if thats what scammers are still putting on invoices.

Yep scam, made to look as if they have paid, also mentions the 'gift' that is non-refundable (rubbish) and payment won't show for 14 days, again rubbish as if they paid it would show instantly in your balance.
