Payment Not Received

I received a 20$ today in paypal and a mail came and from that i claimed the 20$ and showed its success but in PayPal balance or activity its not showing the payment. i have verified email and all things still not came in balance or activity/history anyone please help

If you do not see a transaction in your PayPal account activity log, then no such transaction happened.

 

What is the from address of the email you received?  Did you click a link from this email that had you sign in to your account?  I'm worried that you've been phished, and you should change your account password right away to avoid problems.

 

Again, if a transaction had actually been sent to your account you would see it in your activity log even if it was pending or whatever the status is.  If it needed to be claimed because of a currency conversion or something like that you could have done this from directly inside your account activity log.

 

You should really never trust emails and never click links from emails to log in to PayPal.  If you ever have a question about your account, open a browser yourself, go directly to paypal.com to log in, and if anything is going on with the account you'd see it there.  If nothing is there, no transaction occured, and the email you're seeing is fake.

 

This happens a lot with people trying to get you to ship an item to them when they haven't really paid.  This one sounds more like a phishing attempt, though, since it had you click to claim and log in.

 

I'd suggest you change your account password right away, and then double check the details in the email.  The fake are usually pretty obvious if you look closely.

No its not phishing payment is send by my friend. and from his side payment is successful
