New Paypal Account Direct Deposit

I'm new to paypal and I just set up my direct deposit with the other day paypal thinking I would get my direct deposit from school faster. I was just notified that my school sent me the money to my paypal account but Its not showing anything in activity like if its pending and I haven't received the money either. I'm nervous I messed up and shouldn't have signed up with paypal direct deposit will I get my money!??  I just want to make sure I'm not scammed and I receive the money that was sent to me what should I do I've never had this problem with other accounts??!!

I understand your concern about receiving money through Direct Deposit. Please note Direct Deposit is only available for PayPal Balance and verified accounts and whenever you receive money, you will be notified to your registered email address along with the transaction details and will reflect in the activity page. Your Payer must be located in the US or else the transaction will fail. Kindly make sure that the account and routing number associated with Direct Deposit is for incoming payments only.
