Deposit a check

Hello,

I have been cut a check by the GB Inland Revenue Service. The problem I have is that I don't have a UK (England) bank account and the check is in pounds sterling. Is it possible to deposit the check into Paypal? My credit union doesn't do foreign checks so I am in a bit of a catch 22 here.
