Negative balance question.

A week ago I sent a payment for $75 but sent it to the wrong email, a dead email. I was off by 1 letter. I cancelled the transaction and sent the money successfully to the correct address. Now it says I have a -$75 balance. Will this eventually rectify itself? It's been 5 days and I can't make any purchases until this is rectified.

You won't get paid. According to PayPal they have NOTHING to do with any of those games that say play and win and have PayPal. The only games that you can play and win are the casino games you deposit money into.

Unrelated subject to the topic but your statement is very true. Those games where you play and win, the payout is very little if anything. And I mean chump-change little if you do get paid. No play and win game will pay out hundreds or thousands of dollars. Even the legit games like MistPlay that do payout to people and not scamming payout very modest amounts. You can’t make a living from it. Some games are to manipulate you into making Ad revenue for them but don’t pay out. They make you watch ads upon ads and saying you win big amounts right away is part of that. YouTube has so many content creators trying out games to inform people whether it’s a scam or not. PayPal are not affiliated with any of these games, nor has any control over the payouts at all. When the game really does send the payout via PayPal, only then would PayPal put the money in recipient’s PayPal account.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

When I first started playing these games I thought I was winning thousands but I was winning nothing. When I emailed paypal asking for my winnings thats when I found out they have nothing to do with those games even though their name is on all those games. It's just a scam to get people like me to play

It comes down to timing: whether PayPal can successfully debit the funds on the next attempt after the initial attempt of the second transaction, then the negative balance can resolve itself.

When a transaction is cancelled before the funds had a chance to move to PayPal and back, it can make your funding source temporarily insufficient for another transaction in progress. Your bank may charge Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fees for each attempt PayPal makes so must make sure your funding source is sufficient in funds. Do not top up negative PayPal balance to avoid paying twice. Once, for the purchase and once, for topping up.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
