How to keep the refunded money stays in paypal balance

I had case that when I receive the refund into my paypal, the fund was automatically returned to my credit card.

Is there any option that I can let the fund stays in my paypal balance instead of forwarded to my credit card ? I just want to avoid the huge spread when I have to funding the wallet again or purchase another stuff thru paypal.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

No, refunds always go back to the original funding source used at time of purchase. If you want refund to go to PayPal balance, then pay with a PayPal balance. The only exception is if a debit card is used and for some reason refund can’t go back on the debit card, it’ll go to the PayPal balance.
