How to confirm if Purchase is completed?

I tried to place an order from Nike's website but it wasn't completed on the web page. It was stuck in loading. At the store's site no order is visible in my account. At Paypal's activity no order is shown either. But, I received an email from PayPal that I completed a purchase with XX €. What should I do? Can't find it in the PayPal's activity tab to cancel it. Is the payment actually completed?

Welcome to the PayPal Community and thank you for your post!

 

I do understand your concern with this. Based on what you have explained, it sounds like your payment was not successful. When you attempt to make a payment, the amount can be temporarily charged to your bank/card. This is an authorization charge. 

 

If you received an email from PayPal, but the transaction does not show on your PayPal Activity page, it could mean the transaction was initiated via a guest checkout. 

 

As the transaction was not completed on the merchants site, the merchant won't be processing your order. Therefore, the status of the order would be cancelled/void.
