On the home page where you have the option to send again, 1) how are those people chosen 2) if I’ve never sent to one it’s suggesting how do I figure out who it is?

Chosen when you have sent personal payments to previously, otherwise, it’s by algorithms I guess.
Better to just ask for email address, imho. You don’t have to use the recommendations or the feature. Sometimes money gets sent to another person with similar name.
