Help! PayPal is holding my refund hostage

I’msure this topic is not new, just new to me. Talbots swears they refunded my money to PayPal over 30 days ago. When will I get my refund? In total it about $1,200. PayPal telephone options are useless and their text box is useless. How do I know I will ever get my refund? I don’t like this almighty behavior by PayPal. Any answers for me?

Were those Talbot transactions in your PayPal account activity marked as refunded? If yes, then refer to the bank account or card used to find the payments/refunds. If you paid with PayPal balance then your PayPal balance will be credited.

 

Where is my refund?

 

If the transactions were not captured and are rather temporary authorizations for which the merchant voided, funds should be instantly released or expire after 30 days.

Yes, thank you for responding to my question and plea for help.  Just this past Friday Sept 16 the problem was resolved.  It was the merchant Talbot’s that was at fault, not PayPal.  Talbots failed to refund my money to PayPal within their own set time limit for returns.   I spent over an hour on the phone with Talbots to get my money back.  They refunded almost all.   Except for $32 which I’ll deal with on Mon Sept 19.  Thank you community for being there.
