Help - I need to help to transfer money to my son in Malta

Please read the above. I want to pay my son who has a Paypal account in Malta, and I have $129 in my account, and I cannot pay him. I live in South Africa. I thought Paypal was supposed to make your life easier. Been battling to move this for over 2 weeks

If you are sending USD in your balance then has your son added USD as a receiving currency on his Euro based Maltese paypal account?

As you are using funds in your balance they have to be in the same currency the receiver can accept.

Try to chech your Paypal Notification. Maybe one of you had a Notification of "Your account access is temporarily limited." Try to provide information there and wait for 48Hours!

There is no mention of a limitation and I think they would be aware if either of them was limited !!

This is most likely a currency issue.

In my experience! I can send money to other paypal account even his/her Paypal currency is not the same in my Paypal currency!

Yes if you are funding it via a bank account or card !!

If its in a balance then you have to convert it first.
