So I bought a x box s online at GameShop and I made my PayPal account. The order went through to PayPal but did not go through to GameStop. I never received a confirmation email, so I ended up buying it again and this time the transaction went through GameStop. But PayPal basically charged me twice for this.

Please log in to your account and check the activity page to know about the payments for the purchase. If you have been charged twice, then please get in touch with your seller to cancel one of the charges. You can find their contact details by going to your Activity and selecting the payment.
