First time trying to sort out payment for goods sending from the UK to USA in dollars

I currently sell Keyrings in the UK, but have an enquiry to send to the states, I am looking to end up with £31 for goods and postage, but I've never had to convert dollars to pounds or take into consideration any fees. Anybody in the same situation that has a simple process for working out how much I need to tell the customer in dollars, whilst covering conversion and other fees. Thanks in advance

Just invoice them in GBP and then you would be paid in GBP, why would you want them to send USD and end up having to convert the funds?

If you send an invoice in GBP they pay it and before they click to submit payment it tells them how much would be deducted in USD from there funding source.

You are not supposed to surcharge buyers your paypal fee however.

Sorry I had seen a PayPal calculator online and it asked you to put in the dollar amount, so I just presumed I needed to know the dollar conversion. My goods and postage come to £31 but I believe I will be hit with the following charges [Removed. Phone #s not permitted]5% .465 = 2.495) so I either say I need £31 or ask for more to cover some fees.
