Hi all, I am new to Paypal. I sent some money to someone by email, to help. But I didn't knew that it would send my address attached. I don't want to the receiver to see the address, I don't trust it. Contact Center is close during the weekend. Is it there a way to cancel the transaction or delete the address or change it? I believe that the address isn't share when sending money by email, but when I go see the details, it appears there, and also my cards details, something that I really hope isn't shar.

Supposedly from what I reading when sending money to someone email, it shouldn't send the address. But I'm not sure. I'm new to this. I would really appreciate some help. Thanks all!

If you are sending a goods/services payment to pay for an item then yes the address will be sent so that the seller knows where to send the item !!

However if you are just sending a gift of money using the friends/family option then the address does not show as there is no item to be sent so no need for the recipient to require the address.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

@kernowlass I just clicked in the button that says send and then input the receiver email address. It isn't connected to any purchase whatsoever. Just wanted to send money. I do believe what I did is the send gift option to family/friends but I didn't chose that. I just clicked in the big blue button in home screen that says send. I got really confused because when I went to see the details it had all my information there. Shipment address and card details, and that's something I don't want to share. But when I click in feature "view story" it just shows the receiver name and the money I sent. So on the basis of what I said, the person isn't seeing my details besides my name and email, correct? Extra info in the transaction type says "money sent" and not "payment"
