Hi guys,
Yesterday I paid for my friend and then we had to split the bill. We did it with paypal.
But the amount I received is subject to a fee. But in reality, we should only be making a personal transfer between friends, so what do we need to do to get this fee back?
Greetings,
Yinan

Hi @YinanWang88,
Welcome to the PayPal community! I'm sorry to learn that you have difficulties with the payment that you received from a friend. Typically, you should receive payment without any fee when the transaction is done between friends. If your friend had selected the "Goods and service payment" method while sending the payment to you, unfortunately, the fees cannot be reversed. If they have sent you a personal payment and the fee is charged, please check if there are any currency conversion fees involved. You can learn in detail about the fees here. After clicking on this link, scroll down and check the space where it says "Send and receive money".
I hope this helps.
