Does paypal provide the means for letting my customer choose to cover the transaction fee?

I remember seeing this on some website but couldn't remember where it is.

For example, if user needs to pay for a $100 product on my online shop and the transaction fee is $5, they can check a checkbox saying "willing to cover the transaction fee" so he actually pays $105 and I get $100.

Does paypal provide a way to do this or I will have to do this on the website's end?

hello @vincenk , I have never seen this..
on the other hand, I think that you do not have the right to charge back your paypal costs to the buyer.

I don't have the right unless users check the box that says "willing to cover transaction fee"

having seen it once on a site is not proof that paypal accepts it.
the cgu, yes, they are applicable.

what do you think about your side?

it's not to annoy you, just to avoid having problems with the cgu.
it is sometimes difficult to affirm things and/or be wrong. better to check.
