I joined an organization and sent payment through their online portal which used PayPal. After not hearing from the organization for a month, I reached out to them and they informed me the PayPal receipt they received did not contain my email contact. I was surprised to hear this and asked them to forward the email to me, and lo and behold they are correct. It did include my name and postal mailing address, but not my email address, and since they only send their newsletters and notices via email, they had no way to inform me my membership and been received.
In the past, when I've received money from someone, it always included their email address.
Can someone explain to me what happened or should I report this to PayPal as a bug?
