It is far too easy to use my cash balance towards a credit card purchase. It has happened several times to me. How can I make it harder for that to happen. Can I set the default NOT to use my balance? If I can, how do I do that?
Not auto payments, I never do that. It happened when I made a purchase, that it took my cash balance, then charged the rest to a card I have on file. I solved the problem by never leaving a cash balance in PayPal.
You’re not listening. I want to be able to set my own preference here and that’s to NEVER USE MY EXISTING BALANCE. While we’re at it, I’d also like and option to have changes to my default card apply to ALL payments. Having to go through a whole list or every payment and do it individually is a waste of time, especially since they’re not even listed to show more frequent or recent transactions first. It’s like you’re trying to push customers away by making your service hard to use and unresponsive to their needs.
Me too. You are taking my balance even when it is not a recurring payment. This is not good and the small cash just makes my bookkeeping complicated. I cannot see how this helps anyone not even you guys!
