Create business account and receive money

Hi there,

I have to receive the sum of $160 for an item I'm selling. The purchaser told me that she can't send me that amount as I need a Business account. She claimed she sent additional $840 in order to have my account fully credited with $1000.

I then received an email from PayPal confirming that the I need to return the sum of $840 to the purchase before I get my business account operational; however, I can't see any transaction within my PayPal activities and I'm not sure how to proceed in order to have the $160 from my purchase.

You can have your customers send money to you through PAYPAL's XOOM money transfer platform.

You’re being scammed. PayPal does not require you to have a business account. Doesn’t require buyer to pay an exorbitant amount like this and for you to refund anything to receive a payment. And do not use Xoom for business transactions, it’s not allowed thus Xoom transactions are also not eligible for seller protection.
