What fees can I expect? I am afraid to push the send money button until I understand the fees. I am in the U.S. I need to send $1,450 USD to a vendor in Chile to pay for goods and services. There is no foreign currency conversion involved. Both parties are PayPal account holders. The money will come directly from the linked bank account. It looks as if I only pay $5 for doing this. It that true? If so, does PayPal then take $1,455 from my account, and give $1,450 to the recipient? Surely PayPal makes more than $5 for acting as a conduit for this transaction. Too good to be true?
