Claimed Money does not appear in balance or pending activity. No where in the account!

Hello Everyone,

It is the first time for me to use paypal and I need it to receive my funds from a freelancing website. I entered my email although I did not have a paypal account then I went to my email and pressed claim then linked my account to my sister's account and confirmed it successfully. The money then seemed to have been claimed successfully. but then when I checked the balance, there is no money. when I check the activity, there is no pending transaction. When I contacted the Sending party, they said that the money was transferred to me (it's automated per request) and indeed my freelance account has no funds to withdraw anymore. Where did the money go??

Well, the money is supposed go to your sister’s PayPal account since your email address is now associated with her PayPal account. For Egypt PayPal, a Visa card is must be linked to PayPal account in order to receive payments so check for that at your sister’s PayPal account.

Your sister has to contact customer service to trace the transaction because it is her PayPal account.
