Can I request money from someone using the pay by installments system?

Question: Can I request money from someone using the pay by installments system? I'm selling on Facebook marketplace, I don't have a website.  the product i'm selling is quite expensive, so I was wondering if this is possible. 

If not are there any other ways around it?

Welcome to the PayPal Community Forum and thank you for your post! 

It would not be possible to receive pay in 3/4 payment instalments for a product you are selling, I am afraid.

In order to receive money via PayPal, please ensure your email address is confirmed and you do not have any outstanding account limitations. 

I would also ask that you please ensure you receive this payment via Goods & Services to ensure you have PayPal Seller Protection.
