Adding Funds

I have been with Paypal over 20 years, and just lately I keep having a problem transferring money from my checking account to my Paypal account. It will work after I speak with Customer Service @ Paypal and then it is back saying I need to use a different account. I've gone through this 8 times with Paypal and it works for a day or 2 and then we're back to the problem. Obviously they don't know what to do, do you have any experience with this?

Have you had a recent or fairly recent failed bank transfer OR negative balance?
