Add cash at a store crashes when I select a store on my IPhone.

Hello,

I routinely add cash to my account through the "add cash at a store" option. I tried to do that today, and when I select which store I want to add cash at, the Paypal app crashes back to my iPhone links screen. This is the first time this has happened. I deleted the app from my phone and re-installed it, that had no effect. I made sure that my phone is up to date as well. I've added cash this way many times without a problem, now it won't work. There is no other way to generate a bar code if I can't select a store. The rest of the App seems to work fine. Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?

Nope.  And I confirmed that they do not even look at these posts here, so this area is for member sharing only.  You have to call or chat them and have your name added to the Existing ticket for this issue.  That's all we can do. If only a few customers call in, they don't deem it urgent.  If all of you call or chat with them to add your name, it will help us all.

I’m going to try and see if my Paypal card with work at a 7-11 to load cash today. Hopefully that works.

Hi, I started this thread a week ago, and opened a tech ticket with PayPal the same day. They said they never heard of this problem, but would look into it. I haven’t heard anything from them since, and the problem still exists. I wound up using my PayPal debt card at the CVS checkout and loaded cash that way. It was fast and easy, and unfortunately looks like the only way to load cash at a store now. It honestly looks like PayPal doesn’t take this broken barcode app seriously. I will post if they ever get back to me with a solution.

I just went to the Apple Store and downloaded the update for the PayPal app. Went into the app and seems now it’s finally working again! To make sure it wasn’t a fluke I went to the barcode screen several times, glad it appears they’ve finally fixed this issue!

I did delete my app and reload a fresh one from the App Store. I think it’s necessary.

howdy fellow paypalians. I can confirm on my end that my app does indeed load barcodes correctly now and no longer crashes. I simply removed and reinstalled my app and everything seems to be working accordingly now. Hope everyone else still experiencing this issue to have theirs resolved soon as well. Thank you to the Bosco13 for starting this thread and everyone who expressed their experience to get to a solution!

Same here, app finally works again but I did have to uninstall/reinstall as well.
