Hi Everyone,
I found out that PayPal syphoned $20K from my credit card, while the balance was available the entire time (in the same currency, with no holds) in my PayPal account.
I called to ask why that was, as the primary source is the PayPal Balance, and the card was the secondary, the response shocked me:
We have a system error with pre-authorized contracts that cannot use the balance to pay, so we need to use your credit cards or bank account.
They suggested I withdraw the funds to my account and then use it through the card... And there's a catch, I live in Canada, and they are only willing to withdraw it in CAD, while my balance and ads are in USD.. So they want me to pay conversion twice for tens of thousands of dollars per month?!?
What's up with that PayPal !!
I hope there's a good solution to this as customer service is just arguing saying they're sorry and that's that.
