Hi, I tried out a server subscription for my son on a month by month (invoiced) subscription and paid via paypal as a safer method, I have done this before so am used to the interface and ensured that i did not tick "allow reacurring payments" as after all it was a trial of their services. We were unhappy with the service and therfore cancelled the subcription via email and thought that was it and never applied to pay the next months invoice. I noticed some weeks later that they had not cancelled and emailed as asked them to refund and cancel, this was not done, I have done this again and upon checking noticed that this is now a reacurring payment (i know i did not authroise this) but it has been applied so i went it and changed this which has stopped the payments i have emailed the supplier AGAIN and explained and asked for a reund, they were curt and replyed it not their job to cancel a subscription (ermm what I didnt sign up for that) I feel that i have lost money to a service I was not happy with, didnt use for 3 month but was charged for and also signed for reacurring payments that i didnt authorise.... where do i stand? many thanks for any advice

Here’s how to cancel a subscription or recurring payment:
1.Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2.Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3.Select ‘My money'.
4.In the ‘My pre-approved payments’ section, click ‘Update'.
5.Select the merchant whose agreement you want to cancel and click ‘Cancel’.
6.Click ‘Cancel Profile’ to confirm your request
When going to your "profile" be sure to double click on the tab to open the full Profile page as you may not get all the options if you just hover you mouse over it. Once the page loads you will see the section that says "my money.
