It may be a restricted item either for PayPal or the vendor. The site looks to be selling airsoft guns. Do you have the trouble with PayPal checkout on other sites?

Hi shacow, and welcome to the forums!

You're absolutely correct that Puerto Rico is a territory of the US. Still, shipping costs and logistics are different, and merchants do have the ability to select where they will ship.

My suggestion would be to contact the seller and let them know you're interested in their product and you want it shipped to Puerto Rico. Sometimes merchants make a decision not to ship to a region, and change their minds later when they learn there's an untapped market!

I hope this helps!

the seller knows me I have bought things from them in the past but this time paypal docent let me pay and tells me that paypal does not allow things to be ship to my location why the change, and I can buy airsoft things at eBay so I don't think that might be the problem

Hi shacow,

I would suggest contacting the seller to let them know of the change. Ask them if they modified anything in their account recently that would prevent you from purchasing from them.

I conducted a little test and tried to place an order to PR. (This vendor is using the "Check out with PayPal" button improperly, incidentally.)

When I click the PayPal checkout button, it asks for the address, and forwards me to a page where I would select a shipping method. The vendor uses only United Parcel Service and does not have any UPS shipping option integrated for PR, so you get stuck on this page before anyone ever makes any kind of connection to PayPal's servers.

UPS Ground DOES deliver to Puerto Rico but it uses a different (much higher) rate table and I guess this shopping cart doesn't integrate it.

Hi,

I have the same problem - I do have a screen grab pdf of the message, "Paypal does not allow your country of residence to ship to the country you wish to".

1. The transaction is for service not physical goods and is located in Sweden and I am located in USA.

2. I login to finish transaction.

3. Shipping not allowed message displayed and asked to return to merchant.

4. Contacted Merchant - Both of us are puzzled because I have done this transaction in the past with no

problems. Merchant said this kind of message never came up in their testing.

Is it possible the merchant's servers in Rackspace "Cloud" is the problem?

Thanks.
