horrific experience with PayPal

hello, i really don't know what to do: the company that i made a purchase from (via paypal) refunded my money. paypal said they got it and sent to the post office. the post office said they got a notification that the money is coming on april 14, but now, by may 6, the money still didn't arrive. the post office says - contact paypal, we didn't get anything, paypal said they sent. but we still didn't get our money back . what do we do? (besides of never using paypal and any company that deploys their services)? also, there is no way to talk to live person - the paypal site provides some moronic talking thing that trows generic answers at people that don't answer any questons.
