I just made a purchase on a website that offered PayPal, which I chose to use since it's a bit more secure. I usually pay by directly transferring funds from my checking, but I decided to use a credit card this time. Normally when I use my checking, the charge is instant. However, after using this credit card, I haven't seen any activity. The payment hasn't gone through and I haven't received an e-mail from PayPal letting me know it's gone through. I've never ordered from this site before so it could be them, but they told me they were just waiting for authorization from my card. Is this normal? It's been about half an hour and still nothing. I'm wondering if I should have just by-passed PayPal and input my card number directly. I know this card works, I use it at retailers quite often.

PayPal is down these days and PayPal doesn't care. I cannot pay my bill for couple of days now and they don't care. Im gonna shut down my paypal account because its not reliable any more, maybe it never was, but I have enough of this c r a p. Probably they delete this comment, I hope they delete my account as well, so I don't need to deal with them anymore.

The message was: don't expect any help from PayPal. They don't care about you and their issues.
