I have used my Debit card for numerous purchases over the the last year. One time a friend transfered me money and I used it all up so my Acct balance is 0.00USD. Now I am trying to send money to one of my friends for payment for a service she has done for me. Everytime I try to send the money it says that I need to add funds to my Balance. It doesn't even give me the option to use my Debit Card which I have used in the past just fine. All I want to know is how can I get it to use my Debit Card to make the payment?
There are no other funds i.e. Bank Accounts linked to this PayPal. So I don't understand why it won't let me use my Debit Card.
This is the message I get: Sorry, your payment won't go through. To make it work, you'll need to add money to your account and pay with your PayPal balance.
I don't want to add money to my balance I just want to pay with my Debit Card.
Just to make a statement to the Mods your site even denotes that it should use my Debit Card

- PayPal Balance - Which is 0.00USD
- Instant transfer from your bank account (if eligible) No Bank Account Linked
- PayPal Credit (Bill Me Later, PayPal Extras Card, or PayPal Smart Connect) Don't Have
- Debit card LINKED
- Credit card Don't Have
- eCheck (a delayed transfer from your bank account - may result in significantly slower shipping by seller) Don't Have
