As long as you have some sort of funding linked to your account you should be able to make purchases. The "Confirmed" moniker is when you've linked a bank account or applied for a PayPal credit product. It's just a signifier that you've submitted a little more information about who you are, but isn't required to make purchases.
On the other hand, you may need to confirm the financial information you've supplied, but by now I would hope that's been taken care of!
