I have bought and sold several items on eBay and have not ran in to this issue. Bought an item 12.20.11-payment cleared but seller is having an issue with paypal. States he sold item before but buyer didn't pay and paypal thinks he already sold item so my funds are not being made available to him. Bought item from seller because it looked like he had previously received great feedback; but not sure why I am being penalized and not able to receive item until mid-January when he can get to funds. Should I just cancel (which I have never done before) or actually open a case (which I hate to so). When I sell I try to get it to the buyer as soon as I can. It was an xmas gift so I missed that and now I could probably buy for less. Not sure what to do . Have been extremely patient
