hello i was wanting to send a friend some money so i pressed send as gift but then it says that i need to pay a charge or my friend needs to pay it but when he trys to pay there is no charge for either of us?
why has this happened?

There is no charge if you pay using funds from your paypal balance or via instant bank transfer.
If you fund the payment with a debit or credit card then you are charged.
Advice is voluntary.

Hello and greetings! I was trying to send money as gift to a realtive and a friend in the US. For some reason, my Paypal does not have that option. I am based in Riyadh and I guess that my Paypal defaults to the country. Is this a regional thing or am I missing something? I will be in need to send gifts in this coming month or so and I do hope that this option be available... Thanks and God bless!
