Pending money, seller cannot collect funds

Dear community,

I have completed an order but the payment status is still pending. My paypal account is charged but in the status is written ''This is a temporary authorization to make sure your payment method will cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when SELLER. completes your order.'' 

the seller informed me he cannot collect the funds. My credit card which is connected with PayPal account is valid and has an approval number for this transaction but the seller cannot collect its money. Could anyone tell me why this is happening?

Hi loannisDailos and welcome, 

That sounds strange as it there is a temporary authorisation already on the funds it would mean that the funds are available for your seller to capture. I would recommend to ask your seller to try again and if they are still unable to capture the funds please ask them to contact us directly so we can help.

I try to communicate with PayPal messenger center. I think this is happening because PayPal does not collect the amount with the correct approval number but tries to make new transactions other days than the day of the charge. The amount of money my credit have is only for the first transaction which is pending and all the other tries are denied. Sorry for my bad English. Thank you

Hi there,

It sounds like the seller takes orders rather than instant payments. As the message says, the seller needs to accept the order.
