How long it takes to recieve money

Once someone has sent me money, how long will it take for me to transfer the money from PayPal to my actual Banking account? Will it be Instant? I have heard that large sums of money might not let you transfer paypal funds to your bank account instantly. How long does it take to transfer PayPal funds to a Bank account (Like Chase or US Bank)?

Do you have your U.S bank account linked to your U.K paypal account and if so are you withdrawing dollars or sterling?

I have my Chase Bank account tied to my PayPal account

In the U.K it takes from 2-72 hours for withdrawals to hit your bank account.

BUT if its over 24 hours then you normally get an email to say the funds are held for a random security check.
