Duplicate emails

Every Paypal transaction I do of any type (payment, receipt or transfer) generates duplicate emails which arrive in my inbox every half an hour or so for days sometimes weeks. The same thing happened with an automated email when I asked for help on this very problem.

This has been happening for most of this year and has bever happened before.

Eventually they stop arriving of their own accord but it drives me mad. I have switched off absolutely everything in my profile regarding correspondence preferences but they still come.

Any clues? Can't find anything particularly relevant on Google or find anybody else with a similar problem

It's not on your end, it's a PayPal system thing.  This issue does come up from time to time.  What you need to do is report it to Tech Support:

Note, you have to setup an account first, then you can submit and track your issue.
