How do I issue a receipt for a paid paypal invoice?

I sent an invoice, it was paid, now is the payee issued a receipt automatically or do I need to send him one? thanks

There's no need for you to issue a separate receipt (though you could, potentially, send one from your end as well by integrating a third-party application and an API - see X.com), because we'll send each buyer a receipt for their payment.
