rHi
My business is a service business and I want to start taking Credit and Debit cards. For this I thought the best option would be email invoicing, which could be done onsite.
Recently though, I find I am going to need also the ability to sell items on my website.
Can I use two methods of accepting the credit/debit cards or will a single method be suitable?
Thank You
Regards

Hi Prometheus1618,
Email invoicing falls under our Website Payments Standard service. This can also be used to take online payments via the PayPal shopping cart or a 3rd party shopping cart.
I hope this is helpful,
Tim

Hey there, just to add, you can test out our services on a Sandbox account. PayPal Sandbox accounts let you test our products and services before you implement them on your website. You can see how everything works without having to exchange real money. You can also create test buyer accounts, see emails, and validate API credentials.
Here’s how to create a PayPal Sandbox account:
- Go to https://developer.paypal.com
- Click ‘Sign Up Now’.
- Enter the required information, accept the Terms of Use and click ‘Sign Up.’
- Check your email.
- Open the email from us and click the confirmation link.
It’s a good idea to create a Business Sandbox account to represent you as the seller and one or more Personal Sandbox accounts to represent your buyers.
Here’s how to create a Business Sandbox account:
- Go to https://developer.paypal.com and log in to your Sandbox account.
- Select ‘Test Accounts.’
- Click ‘Create a preconfigured buyer or seller account.’
- Select ‘Seller’ and complete the form, and then click ‘Create Account.’
Here’s how to create a Personal Sandbox account:
- Go to https://developer.paypal.com and log in to your Sandbox account.
- Select ‘Test Accounts.’
- Click ‘Create a preconfigured buyer or seller account.’
- Select ‘Buyer’ and complete the form.
- Click ‘Create Account.’
For more information, download our Sandbox User Guide. You can access this guide from your Sandbox account. Click ‘Sandbox User Guide’ under ‘Help.’
