Paypal website payments pro iframe safari browser problems.

Hi,

I'm visiting from the ekmpowershop forum where lots of members are reporting the same issue with safari device users not being able to complete checkout or the checkout taking more than 30 seconds to load.

http://www.ekmcommunity.com/showthread.php?25075-PayPal-Pro-iFrame-Safari-Checkout-Flow-Problem

This is obviously effecting our business and lots of others is paypal working on a solution to this?

The delay and or failure to load happens at the point that the paypal payments site is opened into the iframe.

Cheers for the help if anyone has any ideas let me know we are losing so many sales!

You can also check out our site to see the issue first hand: http://www.inthepinkcandles.com

Hi,

I have just opened a support ticket for the issue and understand many others have too, but there have been no updates from paypal. I had a look at the developers forum and couldn't find anything that would help.

Hello PayPal,

Iam from EKM powershop too and have been having the same problems. I phoned PayPal regarding this issue and opened a ticket, this is over a week ago and have had no response.

Many EKM PayPal Pro users are fed up and are leaving PayPal over this and to be honest I don't blame them.

Best Wishes

I have the same problem too . I reported it in July and received a support ticked on July 25th. All paypal have done since then is requesting more screenshots ( yesterday) although I have told them that it hangs and goes no where so screen shots are not really possible. Also run an EKM powershop

I'm also a site owner who is also running PayPal iFrame on EKM Powershop, I was the one how actually found the bug on 22nd July and reported with EKM powershop and PayPal.

The case has been open with very little done to treat as a severity issue between both EKM Powershop and PayPal Merchant Technical Support.

I urge people using PayPal iFrame to look at the checkout funnel and filter Safari devices as you will find like myself and may other EKM Powershop site owners that most of your Safari customers abandon the funnel at payment stage.

As we are using an off-self shopping card we cannot edit the flow so going to the developers forums is pointless,  we need PayPal to treat this as a widespread problem and not just affecting isolated customer.

Below is a link to a PDFshowing the checkout flow for our site and the error we (as many others) see on Safari browsers, this was given to PayPal and EKM powershop also on 22nd July 2013;  Safari Checkout.pdf

Hello,

Earlier today I called PayPal and was informed that they were aware of the issue and believe it is a localised Safari / Iframe / PayPal problem effecting only the Ekm platform, PayPal also informed me that they have their technical team working on it at present and it will be fixed as soon as possible.

However, please can someone from PayPal confirm that this is the case as there are conflicting accounts from different EKM customers.

It certainly would be beneficial to all parties if someone from PayPal clarified the position.

Best Wishes
