Hi,
I have a customer trying to pay from my website using the credit card option and he can't do it? never had a problem before with credit card payments!
Is this because he is in Turkey? i thought Turkey was on the list of countries included!!
Thanks, Chris

Hi Crizdee,
Yes, you are correct. Customers in Turkey can make payments for items that they are purchasing through the PayPal website. I can only think that if you are receiving payments since then with no problems that it may be an issue from your buyers side when they are sending the payment.
It may be the case that there is an issue on their PayPal account or their bank/credit card company are rejecting the payment. If you are receiving other payments without any problems, ask your buyer to contact us directly by clicking the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of every PayPal webpage and we can investigate it further for them.
I hope this helps ,
David.

Hello,
Well the customer sent me a screenshot of the payments page and where there is usually a "continue" button next to the credit card logos. there is not one on his page. i checked from my end and i can see the active continue button, but he is not getting the continue option. only option he has is to fill in the form to apply for a paypal account or log in to paypal!!!!!

Hi again Crizdee,
If that is the case, it sounds to me that the sender of this payment isn't logged in to their PayPal account. Do you know if they have tried logging in? Do they have a PayPal account with a credit/debit card registered on it?
Either way, they would need to login to their PayPal account before sending money using their credit/debit card. If they don't have the option to login, they should be asked to enter their information on screen to make a one time payment through PayPal from their card.
I hope this helps,
David.

Hello,
I have a premier account and created payment buttons on my website to pay with credit card specifically so people without paypal account can pay. and this has worked fine till this one client in Turkey is unable to use the credit card option!!!
And quote from paypal website...
Website Payments Standard lets you start selling online in minutes, simply by adding payment buttons to your site.
Major credit and debit cards accepted
No set-up charge or monthly fees
Buyers don't even need a PayPal account

Hi there Crizdee,
I have tried to get some advice on this and I think it may be a button, intigrations or checkout issue when your buyer is trying to purchase the item from you.
The best advice I can give you is tell you to try going to this website www.paypal.com/mts. This is a website where you may already see your question being answered and if not, you can submit a request to our techinical team and they can investigate your problem directly for you.
I hope this helps and I'm sorry that I can not be of more assistance to you.
David.
