Paypal favoured fraudulent Buyer...Please Help! :(

Hi, I believe I have been taken advantaged by a fraudulent Buyer!

A dispute has been opened against me (Case: PP-006-640-735-381) claiming that the item has not been received. I have provided every shred of evidence, i.e. photos of the actual parcel before sending it and the actual receipt as "PROOF OF POSTAGE" which clearly indicates that I have sent off the item. After much deliberation PayPal STILL favoured the buyer and issued a full refund. I am absolutely appalled by this.

I have shown that I have sent off the item and I want to Appeal this! I am given this option on the Dispute's page but it won't allow me to add anything, leaving me completely unable to do anything. I believe I have only a few days to take action for the Appeal but I cannot do it on the Dispute's page. I have the image/photos to show you directly that I indeed have made the parcel and sent it off for delivery, and I believe I have been a victim of a buyer taking advantage of the system.

I have even contacted Customer Services on regards to Seller Protection but they have been unhelpful and still say the decision cannot be reversed, even after I asked for them to look at my Proof of Postage.

Please help me on this matter, I look forward hearing back from anyone! 😞

The only way paypal can know if a buyer actually received their item or not is if a tracking number provided by the seller shows the item as delivered.

Proof of postage just means you posted it and not that the buyer received it.

So if a buyer did not recieve their item and you chose not to send trackable then why not just refund them?

After all if you bought something and did not receive it surely you would want a refund?

Seller protection protects you for 'false claims of non receipt' when if you provide a tracking number that shows delivery of the item then the dispute is decided in your favour.

I tend to send items over xxx trackable but anything under xxx i send untracked but that is of course at my risk and not the buyers. If the buyer says its not turned up then of course i refund them.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Right now I am able to open a claim with Royal Mail to see if the item was actually lost or delivered, however I had to wait 20 days after the estimate time of arrival before opening a claim.

Now one of my main concerns is that everything will be too late as I had to allow a certain amount of time to pass and on how long this will take them to process 😞
