Classic versus enhanced checkout

What's happening with the advanced checkout pages that have been 'rolling out in stages' for over 2 years now? I still see classic checkout pages on all my subscription pages...

Can PayPal clarify what the status of this two year long rollout is?

Closed threads on the topic can be found here https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Merchant-services-Archive/What-is-quot-Enhanced-Checkout-quot/td... and here https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Merchant-services-Archive/Enhanced-or-Classic-Checkout/td-p/6059... amongst others.

My checkput pages look like they were designed in the 1990s (and probably were).

Please advise.

From what we've seen, advanced screens have only been rolled out to select users, what constitutes a select user is anyone's guess.  Indeed, when it comes to rolling out enhancements, PayPal is extremely slow. We've been with them quite some time and have help test a few new features, 2 to 3 years is not all unusual for them from our experience.

Thank you for the reply.

No need for me to point out how ridicilous this situation is - I could improve the 'classic' checkout simply with some CSS if I had access to the sources.

What an antiquated system, totally unfit for purpose.

I will press ahead with my Paymill integration instead. This is the last straw PayPal.
