address format problems

Can someone please help me. I'm trying to sell my first item on ebay. Where it asked me enter my paypal ID i entered the email address that i signed up with but it keeps saying that the format is wrong and to enter a valid email address. I've double checked lots of times but it just won't accept it.

Hi leighanne15, 

For this you may need to contact eBay. Your PayPal ID should be your email address (as you say) that is registered and confirmed on your PayPal account. If it is not accepting this then I would recommend that you contact eBay via the contact us link for further information.

i am having the same problems. my paypal is linked to my ebay account, my paypal account has been verified, its linked to my debit card, bank account, cell phone, in the process of verifying account thru email as well.

i have been buying on ebay like crazy, now im trying to sell my first item on ebay, and it says the format of the email adress is incorrect, please enter a valid email address. the address is correct!

i called ebay for help, i got some guy that could barely speak english, from what i got from him, i need to set up a seller's account ?  well,  ive done almost all i can do. what more needs to be done to sell ?
