International Delivery Issue/Problem

Last week I purchased an item from a seller in the USA. They emailed me saying they could not send the item as they do not ship internationally (which is not what the item says). They then emailed me before I could reply stating that they did not see the USA address and will ship it next day. I informed them of the error and they acknowledged but the item had been dispatched. They did not realise it was a problem until I enquired about an order cancellation and refund. The item was shipped to an airport as provided by PayPal, an address I had not seen listed anywhere. The seller did not put my UK address on the item so when it arrives at the airport I would assume they will not know where it needs to be sent. What I want to know is where is my item and will it automatically be redirected to my UK address from the one PayPal provided the seller?

You mentioned that the seller has shipped to airport address and I have never come across this before. We can’t check the specifics of your account through the Community Forum I’m afraid. The address you select for delivery should be showing on your transaction details page. If you click on the details against this payment, do you see your delivery address on the transaction? If so, this is where the seller has been instructed to ship the item to. If they deliver to another address, you would have a valid basis for a non receipt claim.

Thank you for replying.
I've just checked the tracking information and it seems the airport address sent to the seller is this: 'Shipped from US Shipping Center to International Destination'. I've read ebay/PayPal's international shipping information and without myself or the seller knowing it seems PayPal has dealt with the international shipping. This would also explain why I have two transactions. One for the item and one for the international postage charge. On both it lists my home address in the UK as the destination but the seller has confirmed they were sent the airport (US Shipping Center to International Destination) from PayPal. The tracking information also says that it has gone through 'Customs Documentation and Labeling'. I hope I am right in assuming that here the correct address was added along with documentation allowing the item to be exported. I guess I can only wait until the last day of expected delivery (17th April) before being able to do anything more about it.
